Well, look who is back to writing! Yes, me. I know… it’s long overdue. π I think I finally know where I want to go with this blog. Recently, I’ve also had a bit more free time, so It was easier for me to create content. After all, this is just a hobby for me.
As you can see from the title, there’s a new post format coming to this blog. It’s called “rustling pages”. this post format will be all about beauty & lifestyle books. And, as with all my reviews, they’ll be divided into several sections. I’ll share my impressions, what I like or dislike about them, where there’s room for improvement, what they lack completely, which books I recommend or do not recommend… You get the drift.
And, don’t worry. These reviews won’t sound like an oenophile describing a wine, or a fragrance expert describing a perfume… I am not about that life. These will be, no bullshit, simple, to the point – kind of reviews. I do not have the writing talent, needed vocabulary, or brain capacity. π€£ So, nothing fancy schmancy. Okay? π
Just, an amateur reader, sharing her 2 cents about… books.
Anyways, let me stop yapping about stuff y’all ain’t interested in, and let’s cut to the chase.
The first post will be a book review of a very influential skincare expert, all the way from the UK…
Can you guess who? π
yup, you’ve guessed it – it’s Caroline Hirons! π€
the review will be in 2 parts, as it will be a comparison between her first book, ” Skin care – The ultimate no-nonsense guide” and its second edition, ” Skin care – The new edit”. This way, if you already have the first book, you’ll know whether or not you should upgrade. Also, one book is a hardcover and the other an e-book, so there are some additional differences as well… Again, I’m not gonna go into too much detail, you’ll just have to wait and see. π
Posts will be up in the next few days, so stay tuned …
Hopefully, you’ll like the reviews! π
Until my next post,
Have an awesome week guys β£
